You could be part of a fast-paced technical team supporting victims of crime across the Southwest based in Bristol.

As part of an ongoing investment to meet the increasing demand for digital devices to be examined, a fantastic opportunity is now available for a great leader within our Data Forensics Unit. You will be line managing highly technical staff, leading the way in digital forensic investigations covering all levels of criminality.

Due to the nature of the work being undertaken by digital forensics, there will be exposure to highly distressing material such as pictures, movies, audio and documents

In order to apply you must have a 5 year 'checkable history' in the UK - ideally this means that you would have been resident in the UK for the last 5 years.

Blended Working/ Hybrid Working

Avon and Somerset Police encourage flexible working where operationally possible.
This role has been identified as a blended role.The successful candidate for this role will have the opportunity to work from home whilst also at a secondary work location, which will be a police premises. The successful applicant will have the option to discuss working arrangements with their line manager. All applicants must reside within the UK.
