This Morning has one of ITV's biggest digital footprints with more than 11 million followers across our digital platforms, and over ONE BILLION video views so far in 2024!
The Daytime Digital team commissions and produces all output for social media, websites, apps and branded content for our programmes and campaigns.
This role will focus on This Morning, where you will be embedded within the production team to create daily social content, optimised for various platforms. You'll proactively engage with other teams at This Morning and ITV to both curate and create content to amplify our brand, and help us reach a wider audience online
This role will be based in our studio production office in West London, working within the show to support day-to-day publishing on our platforms, both social and owned for This Morning. With direction from the Senior Digital Producer, you will use your creative flair and editorial judgement to maximise audience engagement on some of our most popular show content.
You will create video, image and text content, as well as publishing content to the This Morning website and app, to help support digital content priorities, ensuring it meets objectives. Keeping up to date on changes to platforms will also be key to this role.
Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)
- Some experience publishing content across digital platforms for a brand
- Experience making video, image and text content and publishing content for digital platforms
- Knowledge about 3rd party platforms and optimal publishing processes
- Excellent editorial judgement
- A keen eye for detail with excellent spelling and grammar
- An understanding of This Morning and it's core audience
- Ability to shoot and edit social content for multiple platforms
Other things we're looking for (key criteria)
- Preferably you'll also have experience working in a live broadcast environment.
