As the Digital Asset Systems Manager you will be responsible for the continued maintenance and governance of the Greene King DAM system and strategy, whilst working closely with stakeholders and third parties.

As a Digital Asset Manager, you will lead the DAM governance and strategy development whilst managing the change management including training and communication. This role will not only oversee the system and workflow you will be managing the metadata roadmap and driving improvements to meet evolving business needs.

Job Description

Your role as the Digital Asset Systems Manager...

• Project manage all changes & user acceptance testing sessions relating to metadata and taxonomy, asset scope, workflow and system functionality
• Drive DAM metadata and taxonomy strategies and approach, with strong consideration to asset retrieval needs and alignment with Greene King's business needs, transformation vision and wider technical architecture.
• Develop and oversee rollout of DAM procedure workflows, to ensure useful, relevant workflows across the system that meet business needs, across the asset lifecycle (ingest to archive)
• Develop and manage all assets, metadata standards and continuous improvement to our DAM policy and governance documentation
• Support with the interface and alignment of our vendor selection and management on all enterprise level initiatives
• Drive and implement the change bringing the wider business on the journey for the cross-functional DAM to ensure continued agreement on areas such as the metadata schema, taxonomy, and controlled vocabularies.

What you'll bring...

• Experience in managing a large Digital Asset Management (DAM) or Media Asset Management (MAM) system, with a strong technical understanding of art of the possible
• Experience with Sitecore or equivalent is essential
• Exposure of managing circa 100,000 assets is essential
• Strategic and data focused mindset with the ability to provide a clear vision to the wider audience
• In-depth understanding of integration with app & web platforms
• Strong change management experience
• Experience delivering technical training and support
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships at all levels
• Curious and inspiring leader who will challenge the status-quo
• Ability to work under pressure & with tight deadlines
