This role is the Digital Analytics Expert in providing actionable insight into personalised customer journey and engagement performance.

The role manages will help to maximise the digital commercial performance using a variety of data sources including web analytics, data on traffic, conversion, orders, etc, to drive insights, actions and measurable improvements for Personalisation and Optimisation.

Role overview:

As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Provide regular analysis of the drivers of personalisation and optimisation performance, across different audiences and test scenarios
  • Promote a culture of experimentation to ensure that website changes and new developments are tested to achieve results. Collaborating with online teams to identify new opportunities and reach a common goal
  • Develop and maintain modelling and reporting solutions that deliver and measure personalised experiences. Proactively review model performance to promote recommended improvements for testing
  • Produce insights that are easily understood by an audience with a wide range of data/analytics understanding, creating powerful stories to influence decisions
  • Provide regular & ad hoc reporting & analysis; turning this into actionable insight
  • Combine multiple data sources and use big data tools to gain a holistic view of customers and their behaviours
  • Use statistical techniques to identify drivers of performance, better understand past changes and forecast into the future
  • Line management

You will need:

  • Advanced numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to use multiple data sources, solve complex problems, identify causation and deliver insightful and practical solutions.
  • Proficiency with website analytics software such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics, or similar.
  • Line management experience
  • Experience with PowerBI or other visualization tools.
  • Excellent SQL and ML/Modelling skills, particularly with Google BigQuery, Databricks and Azure.
  • Experience of Digital Analytics with an online retailer
  • Degree or equivalent in relevant field.
