Role

The Development Manager will spearhead one of our most innovative partnerships in the UK, our collaboration with Places for London to rapidly expand the capital's public EV charging network! This large-scale programme will shape the future of electric mobility in London.

In this role, you'll lead a multidisciplinary team, driving diverse projects from concept to completion while ensuring they're delivered on time and to the highest standards. You'll oversee schedules, mitigate risks, manage change, and provide clear, actionable reporting. Your extensive experience in project management within the construction sector will empower you to handle complex schedules and manage a variety of tasks with confidence.

Collaboration is at the heart of this role. Your positivity and exceptional relationship-building skills will enable you to work seamlessly with diverse teams and external stakeholders. You'll engage effectively with consenting authorities and other organisations, ensuring compliance with partnership contracts and steering projects to successful delivery. In addition to managing programmes, risks, and budgets, you'll provide key updates and insights to the board, tackling challenges head-on while delivering innovative solutions.

You'll become a key member of Fastned's Construction Management team, an international group of highly driven professionals spread across Europe. With support from external consultants and contractors, you'll guide projects through every stage from initiation to completion, helping to build the infrastructure that powers the transition to sustainable mobility.

Based in London, this role will see you working closely with the Construction Lead UK and other key senior stakeholders at Fastned.
