Role purpose
As a Designer at Dentsu Creative, you will report to the Creative Lead. We are seeking talented designers with 3 to 5 years of experience, a strong conceptual portfolio, and advanced skill level in design software such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
This design-centric role requires a passion for design and illustration, focusing on creating innovative and impactful visual solutions for Adobe Express.
As well as Adobe Express you will provide fresh thinking, strong ideas, and a high level of craftsmanship across various projects for Adobe, an exciting client known for its innovative communications. The Adobe team currently 20 people and is constantly expanding.
Responsibilities
- Create compelling design concepts across various platforms, including digital, print, and branding materials that align with project objectives and client expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring creative ideas to life and maintain a cohesive visual identity.
- Produce dynamic and engaging graphics that enhance design projects and storytelling.
- Present design concepts to team members and clients, effectively communicating ideas and rationale. Presenting to clients is a skill that can be developed on the job, even if you do not have prior experience.
- Stay current with design trends, techniques, and technologies, applying this knowledge to create innovative design solutions that resonate with target audiences.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing fresh ideas to enhance creative strategies.
What you bring
- 3 to 5 years of design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing innovative concepts and design solutions.
- Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, layout, and illustration.
- Ability to work within the master brand guidelines while applying conceptual thinking and pushing boundaries where possible.
- Create key visuals and versioning of projects.
- Advanced skill level in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
- An understanding of motion design principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in motion graphics would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to adapt to different projects and client needs.
- Be a driven and versatile designer who thrives on collaboration with colleagues and clients.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- A genuine enthusiasm for design and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Previous agency experience is required.
