What you'll do
Are you a designer at heart but organiser by trade? Join our band of Design Programme Managers (DPMs), who work with the design team to ensure that products and services are delivered on time, on budget and with excellent quality. Our DPMs are advocates for the design team, helping to scope, prioritise and manage our work, supporting the day- to-day running and scaling of the team. They facilitate collaboration between Design, Product and Technology to ensure that stakeholders and designers are aligned, have visibility into the roadmap and are ready to tackle new and existing projects alike. The DPMs enable designers to spend more time designing, leading to better product and service outcomes for our customers.
- In close collaboration with Design leadership, manage the project pipeline and resources, identify overlaps across projects and maintain a transparent project backlog
- Facilitate, and sometimes create processes to track and communicate progress or risks across the programme of work, ensuring teams are on track and unblocking paths as needed
- Oversee planning sessions, work reviews and other team events
- Support continuous improvement of projects and processes, ensuring insights are captured, shared, and integrated
What you'll bring
- Demonstrated experience managing design and digital initiatives, meeting project milestones and deliveries on-time and on-budget
- Experience in improving team collaboration and productivity through project and programme management to change the way teams work and make them more effective
- Strong understanding of Design (UX, UI, Content Strategy, Research, Innovation) and its methodologies.
- Experience partnering with Design, Product Management and Technology
- Good understanding of product development methodologies like Agile (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) and innovation practices (e.g., experimentation, prototyping)
- Experience in agency project management or resourcing UX/UI designers within a product design development environment
- A can-do attitude with a willingness to adapt as needed
