Opportunity to join a prestigious high-end fit-out and refurbishment company renowned for delivering exceptional quality and craftsmanship. We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Assistant Design Manager to join our dynamic team, working on an exciting hotel project in the heart of London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management and coordination of design activities for the hotel fit-out project.
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, and contractors to ensure design specifications are met.
  • Oversee the implementation of design plans, ensuring quality and compliance with project requirements.
  • Support the Design Manager in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any design-related issues.
  • Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in design management, preferably within the fit-out and refurbishment sector.
  • Strong understanding of design principles and construction processes.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in design software and tools.
  • Relevant qualifications in architecture, interior design, or a related field.
  • Familiar with technical assessment of contractor design and proposals.
  • Familiar with preparing trackers and schedules relating the to the development of a design
  • Willing to support the Design Manager in the running of meetings and taking and distribution of technical minutes.
