There is now a great opportunity to join a well-established engineering company that designs, develops and manufactures a range of bespoke products as a Design Manager. As a Design Manager, your role will focus on overseeing design projects, providing technical support and managing a team of design and configuration engineers.

Design Manager Responsibilities;
- Managing a team of designers, analysts and configuration engineers.
- Manage both design and configuration related projects
- Improving the on-time delivery of projects
- Ensuring that designs and supporting documentation is completed correctly
- Providing technical support to customers and the wider engineering teams
- Assisting with continuous improvement activities

Design Manager Requirements;
- Degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, mathematics or physics.
- Previous experience in a technical management position
- Experienced in simulations and technical designs
- Experienced in engineering drawings and configuration management
- Excellent communication skills are essential
- Must be a team player

This Design Manager opportunity is based in Kidderminster and commutable from Worcester, Stourport-on-Severn, Redditch, Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Bewdley, Stourbridge and Malvern.
