DESIGN MANAGERS

With 50 years experience, Mivan is a dynamic and progressive specialist joinery and interior fit-out contractor with a reputation for excellence and innovation and an international track record of achievement within a broad range of sectors including luxury hotels, prime residential, commercial and marine.

Due to our continual growth and expansion, we are seeking to add talented and ambitious Design Managers to our Design Department. These newly created positions will play a key role in fostering innovation, enhancing efficiency and facilitating continuous improvement within our design function.

Reporting to the Head of Design, the Design Managers will lead design teams across multiple projects, overseeing the design process, collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring that design solutions meet project requirements, client specifications and budgetary and time constraints.

The successful candidate should have a 3rd level qualification in a building/construction or architectural related subject and must have extensive experience in the management of construction projects with a detailed knowledge of design processes and industry best practice. Experience of fit-out projects and a knowledge of joinery design, BIM processes and AutoCAD, REVIT or Inventor would be an advantage.

Candidates must possess strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members plus excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a proactive and collaborative approach to resolving challenges. Candidates must also be able to demonstrate the capability to manage multiple projects, organise workload and prioritise effectively.

Although based In Antrim this role will require travel to meet clients and visit sites.
