Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Educated to Level 4/5 NVQ , or HND (Higher National Diploma) Or alternatively In depth specialist knowledge of current and new emerging telecom technologies with extensive knowledge of dial plan management and call traffic management systems.
- Specialist knowledge in all aspects of proprietary switch networking services, PBX's and key systems along with planning and implementation
Experience
Essential criteria
- Sufficient NHS experience in a similar post / role
- Extensive experience of management of contractors.
- Significant supervisory/management experience in a telecom or Data department
- Staff recruitment, management & appraisal
- Managing staff and team leadership
Desirable criteria
- Previous experience of managing a medium to large deployment of telephony
- Experience of dealing with staff over Human Resources matters
