Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Work as a dynamic, proactive and inclusive team manager using an influencing and supportive style to ensure the resourcing team operates effectively.
Ensure that the service is portrayed in a positive, proactive, customer focused way.
Support the Resourcing Manager to make on going improvements to service delivery and quality standards.
Ensure high level engagement by building relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
With colleagues and external partners/customers develop and maintain clearly defined processes and standard operating procedures to help improve the performance of the resourcing service.

Person specification
Education and qualifications
Essential criteria
- Educated to CIPD level 5 or equivalent level experience
- English and Maths GCSE grade C or above/ pass at level 4 or equivalent.
Desirable criteria
- Evidence of continuous personal, professional and managerial development
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience working as a Team Leader/Manager in an NHS recruitment setting
- Performance management and stakeholder management.
Desirable criteria
- Experience to lead, train and manage the team, following HR policies in relation to Attendance, Conduct, Capability, Appraisal and Training
Skills and knowledge
Essential criteria
- Expert knowledge in the NHS Employers 6 Checks standards, Visa and Immigrations rules, NHS Employers guidance on Recruitment initiatives.
- Experience and knowledge of using TRAC, ESR, NHS Jobs
- Experience and knowledge of working in a high volume, high pressure environment and working with clients
Personal qualities

- Able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
- Able to work independently taking the initiative to resolve issues and drive business objectives
