Detailed job description and main responsibilities

To assist the Office Manager to ensure efficient day-to-day management & administration of the National Breast Screening software programmes and the data held therein

To ensure a comprehensive and efficient administrative service observing a high level of confidentiality and data protection in accordance with the requirements of the Trust and NHSBSP screening service.

To ensure all clients, patients and staff are received with dignity and respect in keeping with the Beds & Herts Breast Screening Programme (NYBSP) approach

To work with the Office manager to co-ordinate service provision ensuring appropriate clerical staffing levels and skill mix to meet service delivery.

Manage and supervise administration team, acting as first point of contact for advice and direction in the Office manager's absence. Take action to resolve any contentious issues
