About the role:

Join Sage Homes as a Senior FP&A Analyst on a 12-month fixed-term contract and play a key role in shaping the insight, analysis and financial direction that support our mission to provide safe, high-quality affordable homes across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with senior leaders and make a real impact in a fast-growing, purpose-driven organisation.

This role is based at our Northampton 3 days per week and 2 days remotely.

  • Deliver high-quality weekly, monthly and ad-hoc performance reporting for senior leadership, investors and board audiences.
  • Provide commercial insight and deep-dive analysis across operational areas, helping stakeholders understand key performance drivers.
  • Partner with business leaders to assess trends, influence strategy and support decision-making with strong financial and commercial expertise.
  • Lead the financial narrative for monthly results, presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Manage key forecasting cycles, including annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, ensuring accuracy and ownership of operational financial outputs.
  • Build and maintain advanced financial models to support strategic planning, scenario modelling and performance tracking.

About you

  • Professionally qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) with solid FP&A and commercial finance experience.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insight.
  • Strong communicator with confidence presenting to senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making.
  • Highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A collaborative, curious and solutions-focused approach aligned to Sage's values and commitment to positive social impact.
