Deputy Manager - Widnes Hall
Location: Widnes, Cheshire
Hours: 42 hours per week, working a 3 on / 3 off shift pattern
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time

Widnes Hall is a welcoming, purpose-built care home set in a peaceful residential area of Widnes, Cheshire. About the Role
As Deputy Manager, you will:
- Lead and support the care team to deliver person-centred care in line with Anchor's standards and Care Quality Commission (CQC) requirements.
- Oversee staff rotas, ensuring appropriate skill mix and staffing levels to meet residents' assessed needs.
- Manage and complete audits, care plans, medication processes, and risk assessments to maintain the highest standards of care and compliance.
- Coach, mentor, and develop colleagues, fostering a positive and collaborative culture where everyone can thrive.
- Maintain excellent communication with residents and their families, ensuring that residents' needs and preferences are always at the heart of the care provided.
- Deputise for the Home Manager in their absence, ensuring continuity of outstanding service.
What We're Looking For
- A motivated and compassionate leader with previous experience in a care setting.
- Either an experienced Team Leader looking to progress or a Deputy Manager seeking a new opportunity.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, CQC regulations, and care planning.
- Excellent people management and organisational skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional, customer-focused care with meticulous attention to detail.
- Relevant qualifications such as a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).
