• Salary negotiable
• Minimum of 28 - 35 hours per week (term time only) plus extra hours for key worker profiles
• Permanent

• Required from 1 September 2024.

Your role

First Stop Preschool is a not for profit origination situated in the grounds of Trimley St Mary school. We offer early years sessions for two and three/four - year old children. Our aim is to give the children in our care the best possible start on their educational journey in a happy and safe environment.

We are looking to recruit an exceptional Deputy Manager to support the setting manager with running the preschool.

Your responsibilities:

• work with the team to provide a safe, happy and stimulating environment
• take on the role of key person for a number of children building relationships with their families to ensure their development
• to attend meetings and training as necessary
• to support the lunch club
• deputise with the manager in their absence
• other duties as required to ensure the smooth running of the setting.

You will need:

Essential:

• level 3 qualification in Early Years
• at least 2 years relevant experience
• knowledge of thr Early Years Framework
• current DBS/willingness to complete one and be on subscription service
• willingness to attend training where relevant.
