In this role you will be leading and developing new services supporting people with mental health concerns, substance dependencies or learning disabilities to live a healthy and happy life.

Key Responsibilities

No two days in this role will be the same, the Deputy Manager role will involve:

  • Day to day supervision of an ambitious and dedicated Support Worker team
  • Networking with Social Care partner organisations and local communities
  • Making safe homes for our clients in our newly developed buildings
  • Providing support to our clients
  • Taking a leading role in the safeguarding and wellbeing of our clients and staff in service

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

This role will require you to drive and have use of a car for work purposes.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate effective communication skills and the ability to work with families; other professionals both internal & externally..

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate knowledge of the needs of people with a learning disability and an understanding of supported living services.
