Role Overview:

We are seeking a confident and experienced Senior Residential Property Lawyer to join our successful team in a job share capacity. This role is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and client-focused individual who excels in managing high-value transactions and has the leadership skills to help supervise and guide our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transactional Expertise: Advise on a wide range of residential property matters including sales and purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, voluntary first registrations, and lease extensions.
  • Client Service Excellence: Deliver the highest levels of client service, ensuring a seamless and tailored experience for each client.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the residential property team, fostering a collaborative and confident environment.
  • Business Development: Cultivate relationships with local contacts and agents in the Cambridge market. Develop opportunities for internal and external referrals and actively participate in business development initiatives.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Maintain and expand knowledge in residential property law, working closely with colleagues to share insights and strategies.
  • Collaboration with Private Wealth Teams: Partner internally with our well-established private wealth teams to ensure a comprehensive client journey.

About You

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: A proven track record in residential property law with significant experience in high-value transactions.
  • Leadership Skills: Capable of supervising a team and providing guidance when needed.
  • Local Market Knowledge: Ideally known in the Hereford market with established local contacts and agent relationships.
  • Professionalism: Highly polished and professional demeanour with a focus on client experience.
  • Commitment: Dedication to maintaining high standards of service and attention to detail.
