Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Advanced theoretical & professional knowledge acquired through degree, supplemented by specialist training.
- Expert knowledge of procurement strategy acquired by professional procurement qualification (CIPS) or vocational level 4 plus MBA or equivalent experience.
- Additional specialist knowledge in procurement, project management, financial management.
- Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply.
Desirable criteria
- Leadership qualification or equivalent experience.
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience in the management of a complex, multi-site portfolio.
- Experience of implementing strategy with evidence of monetary savings and innovative ways of working.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of performance measurement.
- Demonstrable knowledge of risk assessment and contingency planning.
Desirable criteria
- NHS experience.
- Experience of implementing e-commerce processes and systems to suit the needs to the service.
