An exciting new fixed term (secondment) opportunity has become available within Cancer Services.

This 9-month post will focus on automation projects and improvements in Cancer Access.

So, if you have experience in Cancer performance and tracking experience and are an enthusiastic and compassionate Team Leader, we want to hear from you today.

Main duties of the job

Design and Develop process mapping
• The post holder will be expected to analyse a wide range of data and interpret.
• There is a need to be highly accurate to ensure that future capacity plans are correct and provide optimum patient service.
• Ensure the that the operational performance is effectively managed to the meet the Trust and Divisional objectives, supporting the Cancer Service Unit Manager to achieve this.
• Support policy development when new standards are introduced.
• Utilise knowledge of patient pathways, and how this information is recorded on Patient Administration Systems and Cancer Systems in order to determine Cancer performance status, and alert necessary management teams of any recurrent themes.
• Support the development for departmental procedures and guidelines, ensuring they are embedded within the team.
• Respresent Cancer Access in analytical meetings and planning meeting.
• To analyse data to ensure that stages of Cancer treatment are accurately recorded to determine areas of concern.
• Attend Project Management Course to support this change project
• Preparation of weekly reporting.
