About The Role
Bracken House - Dementia Specialised Care Home- Deputy Care Manager
As the Deputy Care Manager you will have responsibility for supporting the management of the care home and the team. Alongside the registered branch manager you will be ensuring that Bracken House operates effectively, safely and of course ensuring that the very best care and support is being delivered.
The care home supports 30 full time residents with a diagnosis of Dementia. In addition to this we also support up to 4 respite residents at any given time.
Alongside the registered manager you will be accountable and responsible for key performance indicators relating to the quality, compliance and viability of our services. Develop a culture of strong customer focus that demonstrates a personalisation approach to individuals needs and aspirations. Deliver services within the budget set providing a strong financial performance that enables Nexxus to deliver commercial and social objectives
About You
Qualities were looking for:
- Experience of supervising and managing services to high standards and able to evidence excellent levels of customer & regulatory satisfaction
- Must hold professional Social or Health care qualification equivalent to a minimum of QCF 3 - willingness to work towards level 5
- Understanding of regulatory best practice direction in health & social care delivery
- Experience of enabling busy operations teams to deliver new business and growth and customer service excellence
- Leads from the front and acts as a role model for professional standards and customer care
- Flexible and adaptable to the needs of customers and to the business
What we need from you:
- Commitment to complete mandatory training as part of Nexxus care's onboarding
- Completion of a full enhanced DBS for adult services
- Commitment to promote a positive image of Nexxus at all times
