HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

As a Deputy Boutique Manager you will very closely with the Boutique Manager and support him/her in the overall management of our Harrods concession. Together you will be responsible for effectively building and implementing local strategies and directing the team to further develop sales, CRM and client service within the boutique.

Key responsibilities:

Achieve and/or exceed Sales Plans and lead business development initiatives

  • Work with Boutique Manager to drive sales team to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Maximize business opportunities by creating synergies and efficiency throughout the entire boutique
  • Responsible for defining and implementing the business development strategy and boutique action plan
  • Supporting Boutique Manager in daily, weekly and monthly result analyses
  • Develop a strong knowledge of the boutique business and assess local market opportunities to implement a proactive and effective sales strategy.
  • Collaborate with all Corporate Departments in Milan (e.g., visual merchandising, merchandising, marketing, etc.) on the implementation of global guidelines and action plans

  • Support the team to implement CRM strategies to improve new client acquisition and loyal client retention

Manage and develop team

  • Partner with Boutique Manager to motivate and support the Sales Associates
  • Support the animation of the boutique through regularly team meetings and ensuring that staff is aware of the targets and client experience best practices.
  • Ensure that administrative and HR tasks (including but not limited to rota arrangement, commissions, sickness & absence control, etc.) are being managed
  • Develop and implement the coaching and training strategy for the sales team
  • Support any newly recruited staff, to facilitate and optimize their integration in the boutique

Ensure exceptional client experience and develop client relationships

  • Ensure that the teams are consistently providing an exceptional client experience and maintaining the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism.
  • Ensure development of long term client relationships resulting in increased business opportunities.
  • Ensure a model luxury experience for our clients and maintain a regular presence on the floor (lead by example)

Concession operations

  • Support Boutique Manager in controlling operating costs: monitoring, analysis and action plan recommendations in order to optimise controllable costs
  • Ensure that all operating procedures are strictly adhered to (stock management, security, audits, financial processes etc)
  • Manage daily set up and break down of Jewellery and Silver Concessions for opening/closing, as needed
  • Work closely with the Mayfair team to ensure a smooth collaboration between the teams

Knowledge and compliance

  • Possess deep understanding and knowledge of brand and full range of all products and services to convey Buccellati heritage and values
  • Promote the implementation of new technology based service tools
  • Understand and comply with Buccellati security and operational procedures (e.g., product handling, inventory control, press shoots etc.)
  • Ensure the team apply security regulations concerning clients, staff and stock
  • Ensure the team follow regulations and instructions concerning credit cards and other accountancy procedures
  • Possess a full understanding of the relevant marketplace and client demographic
  • Promote and adhere to the Harrods values and operational and security standards
  • Strive to exceed all Harrods and Buccellati KPI's
  • Work closely with the Harrods management and Personal Shopping team to drive our sales and promote brand awareness

Brand Ambassador

  • Uphold Buccellati image by maintaining professional demeanour at all times and be an ambassador for the Maison
  • Ensure the highest standards of the boutique maintenance (cleanliness, materials' wear), and display equipment (display cases, props, catalogue stock etc)
  • Control the staff presentation: uniforms, behaviours, language, attitude to clients

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

  • Previous retail management experience, especially in the field of luxury or hospitality
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus
  • Available to work retail hours including weekends
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to analyse business and human resource needs
  • Proactive, flexible mind-set with the ability to embrace changes
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and develop team as per Buccellati's image
