Job Purpose and Summary
Canon UK are looking for a Demand Generation Marketing Manager - you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to generate and nurture leads, driving revenue growth for both direct and indirect channel. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of marketing funnels, data analysis, and a passion for creating impactful marketing campaigns. As well as being a key member of the B2B Marketing Management team and leading the demand generation marketing organisation. Your team will design, govern and implement online and offline campaigns, demand generation and customer journey blueprints, including key events strategy overseing specific customer, segment, and persona proposition development to ensure alignment between end user needs and our B2B portfolio. Accountable for setting the Demand Generation annual budget and tracking performance.

What we ask
You will:
- Develop and Implement Strategies: Create and execute demand generation strategies to drive marketing qualified leads, sales opportunities and wins.
- Manage Multi-Channel Campaigns: Oversee and optimise campaigns across various channels, including email (Eloqua), social media, content marketing, SEO, SEM, and paid advertising. Drive and manage awareness and lead generation marketing activities to optimise portfolio performance in conjunction with the channel, product marketing team and sales channels
- Collaborate with Sales Team: Work closely with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales goals and ensure a smooth lead handoff process.
- Analyse Campaign Performance: Measure the effectiveness and ROI of campaigns using data analysis and make data-driven decisions to improve future campaigns. Measure leads, pipeline, campaign effectiveness, trends and overall ROI.
- Content Management: Develop and manage a content calendar, including blog posts, whitepapers, webinars, and case studies to support demand generation efforts.
- Utilize Marketing Automation: Use marketing automation tools to nurture leads through the sales funnel.
- Conduct Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends and identify new opportunities through market research
- Budgeting and Performance tracking: Accountable for setting the annual Demand Generation budget for CUKI, securing input from key stakeholders. Plan and track marketing expense within agreed frameworks. Ensure monthly spend is in line with the plan. Work with Finance to maintain an accurate marketing expense accrual
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Business Operations, Finance and Service teams to ensure a cohesive approach to Demand Generation. Collaborate with wider marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and marketing activities across Canon. Be the key interface with the CEL B2B organisation to ensure alignment on approach with the EMEA strategy, including positive influence of future direction to the benefit of CUKI.
- Supplier / Partner Management: Lead and manage third party service delivery agencies to ensure a best-in-class customer experience is achieved in a compliant and maximising the commercial return from these partnerships.
- Project Planning and Management: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure timely delivery. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and meeting minutes. Provide regular status reports to stakeholders and senior management.
- Team Management: Actively manage and develop team members through coaching, mentoring, training and other defined processes such as performance reviews & personal development plans
You will need
As the Demand Generation Manager, you will possess the following skills and expertise;
- Successful track record in B2B Marketing including demand generation / content/ persona development experience within the Technology sector
- Working with direct and indirect sales teams
- Working with marketing agency environments to deliver against client expectations.
- Large team & people Management
- Excellent understanding of Marketing technology and social platforms
- Knowledge of GDPR and wider Data Privacy legislation
- Strong commercial acumen and comfortable with commercial marketing.
- A track record of delivering tangible results, built on an ability to plan own and others workloads, ensuring accountability and consistently achieving deadlines
- Strong ability to analyse data and use marketing analytics tools to measure campaign performance and derive actionable insights.
- Strong cross-functional and relationship building skills, being able to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across Sales, Support Functions and Canon Europe
Further Information
Salary - £67,000 - £74,000 plus a 10% annual bonus
