About the Job you are considering:

We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Delivery Project Manager to lead strategic projects within the Core Acquiring domain. This role is critical in driving the successful delivery of initiatives that span payment processing platforms, infrastructure deployments, and software development. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with proven project management skills to coordinate cross-functional teams and deliver high-quality solutions in a dynamic environment.

Hybrid working:

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your Role:

• Manage end-to-end delivery of Core Acquiring projects, ensuring scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards are achieved.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, resource allocation strategies, risk registers, and communication frameworks.
• Oversee dependencies between infrastructure provisioning, payment platform integration, and software development cycles.
Stakeholder Management
• Serve as the primary liaison for internal teams, external vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Conduct regular status updates, steering committee sessions, and manage escalation paths effectively.
Technical Coordination
• Lead infrastructure and platform deployment activities, ensuring seamless integration with acquiring systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on application rollouts, CI/CD pipelines, and platform enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and operational standards across all deliverables.
Risk & Change Management
• Identify and mitigate risks proactively; manage scope changes through formal change control processes.
• Embed business continuity and disaster recovery considerations into project planning.

Your Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
• Experience in project management within payments or acquiring systems.
• Strong understanding of payment processing technologies, infrastructure, and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
Preferred Skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and prioritize effectively.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence).
• Experience in regulated industries such as financial services is a plus'.
