Kody, a fast-growing Fintech specialising in bringing online payments and better financial services to brick and mortar businesses, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Delivery Manager to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering projects and initiatives that drive our business forward and shape the future of our company.

The Delivery Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of projects and initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the defined objectives. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to plan, prioritise, and execute projects, taking into consideration resources, dependencies, and risks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a results-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities

  • Work closely with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables
  • Develop detailed project plans and timelines, and ensure teams are aligned and equipped to execute on them
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies
  • Manage resources effectively to ensure timely and successful project delivery
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution
  • Track and report on project status, progress, and key performance indicators
  • Continuously evaluate and improve project delivery processes and methodologies
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture
  • Ensure adherence to project management best practices and quality standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Delivery Manager or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced software development or fintech environment
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management abilities
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on fostering collaboration and driving results
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Knowledge of project management tools and software. We use Jira and Notion.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes
