About The Role

What you will do

As a Default Risk Account Manager, you will be responsible for assessing and managing the risk associated with our dealer default across our loan portfolio. You will oversee the implementation of our dealer auditing procedures and ensuring funding lines are run in line with the requirements, as outlined in the Dealer Stocking Agreement.

Your primary focus will be monitoring account behaviour and implementing strategies to mitigate default risk while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Risk Assessment - Complete on-site audits and conduct thorough analysis of clients 'financial profiles, account history, and payment behaviour to evaluate default risk.
  • Monitoring - Continuously monitor accounts in your area for signs of financial distress or potential default, including changes in payment patterns or external economic factors.
  • Decision Making - Make informed decisions regarding credit limits and risk mitigation strategies based on comprehensive risk assessments.
  • Portfolio Management - Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring that risk levels are within acceptable thresholds and taking proactive measures to address potential defaults.
  • Communication - Maintain open communication channels with clients to discuss financial difficulties and explore alternative repayment options.
  • Compliance - Ensure compliance with audit and credit policies related to credit risk management and lending practices.
  • Reporting - Prepare regular reports on dealership audits, default risk metrics, portfolio performance, and potential areas of concern for senior management and stakeholders.

What you will bring

  • Proven experience in credit risk management, preferably in banking or financial services.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and assess creditworthiness.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
