We are seeking QA Engineers to join our growing team to deliver Data & Analytics services with a long-standing public sector client.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business;
it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the
time.

If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including:

criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service)

Your Role

This Senior QA role is hands-on and involves working within Agile teams to write test plans, completion reports, and maintain test schedules. Responsibilities include defining and documenting test activities, conducting functional, non-functional, and integration testing, as well as supporting E2E testing across projects. The role requires analysing requirements, identifying test scenarios, and executing both manual and automated tests. Collaboration with delivery teams, stakeholders, and external suppliers is key to ensuring successful project outcomes. Regular status reporting and risk identification to Project Managers are also expected.

Your skills and experience

• Experience in Functional System Testing and Integration Testing (writing and executing tests)
• Proficiency with Test Tools (e.g., Test Automation, Postman)
• Experience with Data Warehouses, Data Marts, and Data Migration
• Strong skills in SQL, Oracle, or other databases
• Ability to define and document Test Approaches, Test Plans and Test Completion reports
• Proficiency with JIRA, Test Management Tools (e.g., Jira Zephyr Scale), GIT
• Experience with testing ETL/ELT flows
• Coordination of testing with external teams
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• AI experience - utilising AI in software testing

The following would be nice-to-have:
• Experience in Performance Testing/Operational Testing (Non-Functional Requirements)
• Experience with testing Denodo, Talend, Pentaho (PDI & PBA), Informatica
• Experience with API Testing
