The role in charge of Data Programme Management is responsible for all vendor relationships, their scaling, and training, as well as the maintenance and rolling out of analytics and organisation-wide programmes. This role will act in the capacity of a Chief of Staff, accountable for maintaining the analytics-wide roadmap, prioritisation, and ways of working, and providing exec support in reporting on nuclear items (finance, earnings, boards) as required.

This is a unique opportunity for an established analytics leader who enjoys the fast-paced environment of a growing company and is able to manage multiple roadmaps across a variety of analytical skill sets.

You would ideally have a background in analytics and project management at either a dating, social, gaming or other relevant tech company, with proven experience in driving commercial impact through applying analytics to critical business problems.

You understand the high-level business model of the company and its primary drivers to build strategies and teams that respond to ever-changing business needs. You will help senior leadership navigate ambiguity and shape analytical roadmaps, projects and insights briefs.

You bring experience in working with multi-disciplined analytics teams and complex data landscapes. You will be a rigorous prioritiser, strong communicator, and knowledgeable across the entire data value chain and the landscape of tooling, vendor relationships, and programmes which elevate an analytics organisation. You will be an evangelist of the data programme at large, keeping in mind everything from consumption cost metrics to the ROI of analyses and data products.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • You will manage Carto, DBT, Montecarlo, Count, and enterprise tooling relationships, upgrades and roadmap additions, and any necessary training.
    • You will be in charge of roadmaps, roll-outs, and metric tracking across the success of these vendors.
    • You will manage the project rollout of analytics engineering.
    • You will support in analytics wide updates, all hands, and run management meetings.
    • You will maintain and prioritise the analytics wide roadmap, and organise ways to socialise, align, and instil new processes to ensure the roadmap has the most impactful projects organised by analytical capabilities.
    • You will manage programmes across self-service, data enablement, junior analysts, and citizen data, as well as any L&D and conference support.
    • You will own the key relationships with finance, exec, and accounting needed for compliance, SOX, and regulatory reporting.
    • You have experience with scaling analytics and ROI/consumption cost concepts across a decentralised organisation.
    • You will partner with finance, FPA, and business domains to ensure reporting is compliant with their needs.
    • You will assist senior data leadership in aligning roadmaps, OKRs, and goals, running meetings, forums, and slack channels as required.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

    • Preference for a graduate degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Information Sciences, Economics, Finance, or STEM. PhD and Masters welcome.
    • Preference for experience working in similar dating/social/gaming tech product industries or else financial services/high-data-volume industries.
    • You will have had ample experience working with a distributed team of data skills and data leadership.
    • You will have project-managed data initiatives before.
    • You have strong project management practices across a variety of tooling such as Jira/Asana/Trello.
    • You have strong vendor relations and have established ways of maximising those relationships for the needs of the organisation.
    • You will have worked with senior data leadership to align goals, targets, OKRs, and initiatives to ensure their delivery is prompt and optimised.
    • You will have strong documentation practice, being able to centralise and drive alignment around project plans, gantt charts, timeline tracking, and delivery.
    • You have experience working with complex data infrastructures and have experience partnering and guiding the work of data engineering to help facilitate ingestion, warehousing, and optimisation of databases.
    • 5+ years experience in project or programme management.
    • You feel comfortable and in your element when presenting and guiding senior leaders towards an aligned objective.
