As the Manager, Investment Data - Data Production UK, you'll step into a dynamic, newly created role in our growing London office. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to our global operations and take ownership of critical data processes, enabling accurate and timely reporting for investment teams.

The Role
We are seeking a motivated and strategic leader with strong expertise in data management for capital markets. Your key responsibilities will include:
Data Production Management
- Lead and mentor a team of Data Analysts, guiding them in daily data management operations.
- Oversee investment data lifecycle tasks to ensure timely, accurate data delivery for critical reporting and decision-making.
- Act as the primary contact for managing data quality, data transformation, and exception handling in alignment with internal SLAs.
Process Optimization and Change Management
- Champion improvement initiatives to enhance data processes, collaborating with operational and technology teams on optimization projects.
- Evaluate control effectiveness, enhancing workflows for improved efficiency and accuracy.
Stakeholder and Vendor Collaboration
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, custodians, and vendors to manage data reporting, troubleshoot issues, and ensure robust data governance.
Data Integrity and Compliance
- Ensure data management processes align with governance standards, and lead efforts to maintain data quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Who We're Looking For
You are an experienced data professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes pride in delivering high-quality results. Your background includes:
- A degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Significant and in-depth experience in investment data management.
- Familiarity with capital markets, data lifecycle management, and investment platforms (LUSID, Aladdin, Refinitiv).
- Proven skills in managing complex data workflows and leading teams through data challenges.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
