Overview

This role's primary responsibility is to ensure that data privacy principles are implemented into all areas of Publicis' business in the UK market. This position should have knowledge of data privacy laws that are applicable to the adtech and advertising industry. The position will coordinate across senior-level business, engineering, and system administration stakeholders to implement data privacy by design and default into existing and future proprietary systems. This role will navigate between strategic business objectives and system/process concepts.

Responsibilities

What you'll do

  • Embed data privacy across our UK agencies
  • Be the go-to expert on UK GDPR & data protection
  • Partner with global Privacy, Security, Tech, and Agency teams
  • Champion privacy-by-design across systems and vendors
  • Lead DPIAs, vendor due diligence, and risk activity
  • Translate regulation into clear, practical business solutions
  • Support senior stakeholders and client conversations

What You'll Bring

  • Strong experience in data privacy, ideally within adtech, media, or a regulated industry
  • Solid knowledge of UK & EU data protection laws
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects in a matrix environment
  • Experience supporting Subject Access Requests (desirable)
  • Familiarity with privacy tools such as OneTrust
  • Confidence working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • IAPP certification (CIPP/E, CIPM) or willingness to become certified
  • Comfortable working in a global, distributed team
