  • £26,056 - £27,921 per annum (£29,269 - £31,364 pro rata)
  • 37.5 hours per week, term time plus 2 weeks

SET Ixworth school is a small high school set in the picturesque Suffolk countryside. We are over-subscribed and will have around 600 pupils in the school by September 2024.

The school enjoys a positive reputation in the community, as evidenced by the high demand for Year 7 places in September 2024. The students demonstrate respect, motivation and very good behaviour in their learning.

The school's vision is to provide an education system that truly serves those it educates by always reflecting on and addressing individual needs, strengths, and interests. There is a Specialist Resource Base on site for around 12 pupils, supporting pupils with communication and Interaction needs.

The school is currently a "good" school according to Ofsted, with an inspection from September 2019.

The Data Manager / Exams Officer is responsible for the organisation and smooth running of both internal and external examinations and the management of data. You will be familiar with the requirements and regulations placed on schools by both awarding bodies and the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ). You will ensure that the school is compliant with these before, during, and after examination periods.

In addition, the Data Manager / Exams Officer is responsible for the management, analysis and publication of data in the school. The Data Manager / Exams Officer will prioritise exams during exam periods and data around reporting times.
