Role Responsibility

We are recruiting for a Data Manager (KR10) to join Kent County Council's Pension Section, Finance Division, working for Kent Pension Fund. The role is permanent, full-time (37 hours a week). The primary location for this role is Invicta House, Maidstone, Kent; the successful candidate will undertake hybrid working (both home and office working, according to business needs). We welcome applications from both internal and external applicants.

Applications from part-time applicants willing to work a minimum of 30 hours a week are also welcomed.

The post holder will manage a team responsible for pension data management. You will be required to co-ordinate, monitor and manage the workload of your team and will work closely alongside the other team managers in our Pension's Communication and Support team. You will be responsible for managing the collection of data from scheme employers and our stakeholders in our pension fund. You will contribute to the management of data we supply to our scheme members. Knowledge of the Local Government Pension Scheme is required as you will be implementing regulatory changes and scheme requirements. You will also be expected to have experience in pension administration systems such as Altair and iConnect, as complex enquires will be escalated to you and you will be required to provide guidance, direction and support to your team.
