Workplace Services manages Deloitte's occupied UK office space, overseeing supply chain performance, workplace compliance (including sustainability), programme and project management, and operational excellence through data-driven insights. They collaborate with Internal Real Estate, which is responsible for unoccupied spaces.

The Data Insights and Governance Manager will work with the Head of Digital Workplace to deliver the data strategy and digital transformation of Workplace Services. This role is crucial to achieving "data-led" Workplace Services and will be the key person responsible for disseminating insights and narratives, working with embedded analyst resources and the leadership team. This role will also assist in the rollout of new technology and automation projects and act as the nominated number two member of the team's hierarchy.

Strategy Leadership:

  • Leads the development and execution of the Workplace Services data strategy.
  • Identifies opportunities for digitisation and automation of services.
  • Governance Management:
  • Designs, implements, and maintains a robust data governance and quality framework across Workplace Services.
  • Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations, including General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Digital Capabilities:

  • Supports the delivery of the Workplace Digital Strategy and digital transformation projects.
  • Analyses and improves insight extraction from dashboards.

Business Acumen:

  • Manages outputs from supplier embedded analyst resources.
  • Business Partnership:
  • Acts as deputy to the Head of Digital.
  • Responsible for sharing a monthly insight report with senior Deloitte stakeholders, ensuring reporting and data tools are insightful and capturing user feedback.
  • Gathers insights into employee needs, informing the development and improvement of digital solutions.

Performance Measurement:

  • Creates a catalogue of standard metrics and insights, embedding a strong culture of data governance and data quality.
  • Proactively shares insights with senior management, monitoring and communicating ongoing impact.
  • Enriches recurring reporting with insightful storytelling and deeper analysis of trends.
  • Develops and implements mechanisms for capturing and analysing user feedback to inform data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop strong relationships with supplier teams to enable collaborative working and reporting.

Connect to your skills and professional experience

Essentials:

  • Experience working with and managing business intelligence tools.
  • Experience in running and defining a data governance framework.
  • Background in analysing data to discern impactful insights.
  • Understanding of Intelligent buildings (IB) and Internet of Things (IoT) technology and the processes required to maintain data accuracy in these systems.
  • Proven track record in defining and disseminating reporting and insights.
  • Knowledge and understanding of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
  • SQL experience (desirable).
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and dashboard platforms (e.g. PowerBI).
  • Outstanding communication skills, including articulating data to both senior and operational audiences.
  • Strong leadership, management, and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in continuous improvement by keeping abreast of market developments, industry standards, and innovations.
  • Experience with gathering and analysing user feedback.
