About the Role

The Global Operations practice at Publicis Media is a global network of specialists focused on ad technology implementation, data accuracy, governance, analytics, and reporting. Our teams play a critical role in enabling advanced media solutions for some of the world's leading brands.

We are looking for an experienced Global Data Governance Lead to oversee data governance across global campaign activity for Samsung.

This role will ensure the highest standards of data quality, taxonomy governance, and campaign data integrity, enabling teams across markets to generate meaningful insights and drive better performance for our client.

You will work closely with global Ad Tech, Investment, Operations, and Data & Analytics teams to improve data processes, maintain governance standards, and drive adoption of scalable reporting frameworks.

Responsibilities

Data Governance & Compliance

  • Lead global data governance standards to ensure consistent campaign taxonomy and naming conventions.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance frameworks across all local and central teams.
  • Maintain global data dictionaries and master data structures across platforms.

Data Quality & Integrity

  • Monitor campaign data quality across planning tools, ad servers, and activation platforms.
  • Ensure accurate campaign tagging and taxonomy implementation across markets.
  • Identify opportunities to improve taxonomy structures and usability.

Data Strategy

  • Develop the strategic framework for connecting data across platforms including media, production, CRM, CDP and third-party tools.
  • Enable full-funnel reporting and optimisation through improved data connectivity.

Reporting & Insights Enablement

  • Support local and global teams in leveraging reporting dashboards and planning tools effectively.
  • Work with dashboard development teams to improve reporting views and functionality.
  • Ensure data structures enable meaningful insights and strategic decision-making.

Governance Operations

  • Act as the central point of contact for data governance queries and escalations.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer across global teams.
  • Oversee Data Governance Associates managing platform data dictionaries.
  • Support the evolution of the client measurement framework.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Experience in media, advertising, or digital marketing operations
  • Strong understanding of paid media ecosystems including strategy, activation, ad tech and analytics
  • Proven experience implementing data governance frameworks
  • Strong process and project management skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Technical Experience

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with data visualisation tools
  • Familiarity with ad servers and DSP platforms
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira is beneficial
