Your Role:

• Architect and deliver modern data solutions tailored for the insurance sector.
• Demonstrate deep expertise in Azure and Databricks platforms.
• Implement medallion-style data architectures for scalable and maintainable pipelines.
• Integrate data from diverse insurance systems-policy, claims, quotes, and pricing.
• Design domain-driven and dimensional data models to support analytics and reporting.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance across all layers of the architecture.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Optimize performance and cost-efficiency of cloud-based data solutions.
• Apply best practices in data engineering, including CI/CD and automation.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in data architecture.

Your Profile:

Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures on Azure and Databricks, following the medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers) for structured and unstructured data
• Develop robust ETL/ELT pipelines for both batch and real-time data ingestion using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and event-driven frameworks
• Model insurance data across domains such as policy, claims, quotes, and pricing using both domain-driven (3NF) and dimensional (star/snowflake) schemas
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and data consumers to define data products that align with operational and analytical needs
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance using tools like Unity Catalog, Collibra, and metadata-driven frameworks
