Data Centre Service Delivery project Manager - Outside IR35

My client are looking for a Data Centre Service Delivery project manager to join the business on an initial 6 month rolling contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Datacentres and have a solid understanding of network infrastructure.

Key responsibilities:

• Project reporting in line with industry best practises

• Partakes in multiple phases of site changes and optimisation
• Budget and planning for device/product installation, configuration and roll out to existing data centres
• Review and create documentation (including process and procedure) for the

• implementation of projects for existing data centres With third parties, executes agreed project plans to deliver upgrades and changes to sites through to operations

• Support the transition of newly acquired sites, services and systems into operations
• Ensuring that operational escalation processes are in place and tested.
• Ensure the correct implementation and testing of the day-to-day operational configuration of systems, devices, BMS, fire - this will require liaison with suppliers and service operations
• Transition new ACS deliverables to Access Control Administrators and ensure they are

• performing the correct functions - Credential management and issuing (IDs, mobile credentials, biometric enrolment).

• Ensure access rights a correctly configured at the end of the projects, including utilisation of Central Systems (Carma) and associated Security systems for visitors and scheduled visits.
• Update existing operational processes as required
• Work with third party service providers to ensure that new operational manned guarding

• has the correct skills and training to manage the physical security on site

Key Skills

• 2+ years experience in technical systems within data centres, warehouses or other low traffic, ideally including security and BMS platforms, preferably across the European region.
• 2+ years experience in project management and vendor management
• Experience with BMS deployments, Niagara preferred
• Experience with various hardware and software components commonly used in physical security such as products from Axis, Mercury, HID, Honeywell etc.
• Experience of delivering projects to a high standard, to budget and within timescale

Additionally

• Good understanding of project management principles
• Good understanding of access control principals.
• Basic understanding of network concepts on an international company scale.
• Basic understanding of cloud concepts such as SaaS, PaaS, IaaS in relation to Physical Security platforms and deployments.
• Knowledge of BIM and associated discipline related design tools (AUTOCAD etc)
• Knowledge of BMS systems for monitoring
• Experience in building codes, regulations, and standards around security, health, and safety.
• Understanding and experience working with the physical security requirements in standards
• like ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, etc.
• Proven strong stakeholder management including reporting, project management, risk
• identification and escalation
