Location: Birmingham, West Midlands

Salary: Ark Support Scale Grade 9, Pay Points 25 - 32 (£33,944- £40,220 per annum). Pro rata £27,284 - £32,328 per annum.

Start date : September 2024

Contract: Permanent - term-time only plus two additional weeks to be worked in the school holidays.

Hours: Part-time, 4 working days per week (0.8 FTE). We are offering an agile working pattern for this new position with the option for home-working. Additional information can be found below.

About the role:

We are seeking a strategic Data and Assessment Manager to join our Operations Department, reporting directly into the Senior Leadership Team.

As the Data and Assessment Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the school's data integrity, reporting and analysis. You will support the Senior Leadership Team to make data-based decisions that have a real impact on student achievement. You will also support with timetabling and the efficient implementation of the curriculum model.

The right candidate will be an excellent team player and will demonstrate their ability to work well under pressure. We are looking for an organised individual who will uphold the vision and ethos of the academy at all times, providing an excellent service.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • be responsible for data integrity, including: attendance, reporting, census returns, admissions/leavers, exclusions, student and staff details and assessment results
  • have Excellent data analysis skills, advanced Excel skills, and comfortable working with and manipulating large sets of data
  • be able to manage several projects at once, prioritising accordingly to meet deadlines

Agile working

We are offering agile working conditions for this exciting new opportunity, meaning duties can be carried out from home. You will maintain frequent and regular contact with your line manager and will be required to attend the school in person at least twice per term, or once per half-term.

We offer:
