The role of role of Data Analytics Manager is important to us.
You will be responsible for a team of Data Analysts which delivers reporting capabilities to Radius through a range of tools including Tableau, Sisense and Salesforce.
Alongside this you will influence and deliver strategic goals to bring data and metric standardisation, report automation, and self-service to our 8 divisions and embedded business analyst teams.
This role will fire up your stakeholder and business acumen skills, combined with your operational and project management experience. You will be hands-on, able to technically lead and coach the team. The team is mainly UK based, with some overseas members.
It is an office-based role, working from the Radius Campus head office in Crewe, Cheshire.
Your responsibilities will include...
- Lead, manage and coach the Data Analyst team alongside personal tasks and project delivery.
- Oversee and manage the daily team operational processes (Sprints and Service Desk), working with your Data Engineering colleagues in the DS&R function.
- Identify, shape and deliver reporting services projects, managing stakeholders, process transformation and technical delivery as required. Own the Data Analyst project roadmap.
- Support DS&R strategic goals to grow data maturity at Radius. This includes improving Tableau adoption, standardisation of metrics, our analytical operating framework, and the reduction in siloed cottage industries of data within the business.
- Work with the Head of DS&R to improve the overall performance and efficiency of the DS&R function.
- Maintain a suite of rigorously controlled Radius-certified reports across key platforms including Salesforce, Tableau & Sisense.
- Set performance goals and objectives for team members. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching to develop your team to be the very best.
- Work closely with the Data Engineering team to advise on design to ensure datasets meet the reporting needs for Radius.
- Set, measure and improve the QA standards for data and reporting within the team.
What do we expect of you?
- Proven experience managing Data Analyst teams, including project management and technical delivery.
- Excellent SQL skills and hands on experience with visualisation tools (Tableau preferred).
- Strategic thinker with a thirst for business knowledge.
- Passionate, committed, and ambitious. Set high targets and be relentless in supporting the team to reach them. Be dynamic to reset targets and adapt plans as business priorities and objectives change.
- Be an advocate for automated self-service reporting, built on single sources of truth and underpinned with technical excellence.
