Salary: £54793+ depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

• Responsible for all aspects of the day to day running of a jetty/dock yard
• Seeking to deliver high standards of Service Excellence by meeting the customer’s objectives in a safe, reliable and cost effective manner
• The number one priority of the role is to effectively maximize the efficiency in the method of delivery of all jetty activities
• Support the Team leader to ensure the efficient running of the Jetty and maintain a high level of service
• Undertake all aspects of the Jetty Operative jobs including: Forklift assistance to Warships repair projects,
• Prepare waterfront/jetty for COB rounds,
• Provide transport of projects materials

Your skills and experiences:

• Experience working on Typhoon DASS or other Avionics Systems and EW Projects
• Strong Mission Systems/Software Engineering background
• Experience collaborating with suppliers would be beneficial and producing estimates for new business, managing budgets and project control
• Experience in leading systems engineering practices and procedures and understanding technical requirements and contract
• Educated to a degree level within an engineering subject or equivalent with an appropriate engineering background

Desirable:

• Professionally registered, Chartered/Incorporated Engineer or working towards

The Platform Systems Sub Systems Integration team:

As part of the establishment of the Mission & Information Systems Service Delivery Unit, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Defensive Aids Sub System (DASS) Product Manager to join the Platform Systems department. This role is responsible for delivering DASS sub-system products across multiple contracts.

As the product lead for all DASS products, you will work closely with and support the System Design Responsibility (SDR) and Engineering Design Responsibility (EDR) teams throughout the full development lifecycle.
