Job Purpose

We're embarking on an exciting transformational journey to revamp how our front, middle, and back offices function. As we stabilise our current Dynamics 365 implementations and gear up for future rollouts, we're on the hunt for a D365 Environments & Release Manager who's ready to roll up their sleeves, dive into the details, and help us navigate the twists and turns of transformation and BAU.

You will be responsible for managing D365 environments, overseeing release management processes, and ensuring the stability and availability of our D365 applications. This role requires a strong background in BAU operations along with system administration skills

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain health, performance and security of D365 environments
  • Co-ordinate with development, testing and support team to ensure environment availability and readiness for various activities
  • Develop and maintain release management process for D365 applications, ensuring smooth and efficient deployment of changes across environments.
  • Implement and enforce best practices for system administration and maintenance
  • Work in collaboration with HR IT Director, Finance IT Director, Head of Applications in managing change across the application set
  • Provide day-to-day support for D365 environments, undertaking system maintenance tasks and implementing enhancements.
  • Administer and configure D365 applications, including security settings, user roles and customisations
  • Manage a small team of test resources and demand planner
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate releases, including deployment activities and rollback procedures.
  • Act as the gatekeeper of non-prod/production environments
  • Proactively identify and address potential issues or bottlenecks to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
  • Liaise with project and BAU teams as needed across CTIO and CDIO teams and Enterprise Platforms.
  • Work closely with our support team and build relationships that further strengthen our ability to release and change the applications

Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience managing Dynamics 365 environments, including deployment and administration.
  • Strong background in release management, with proven experience coordinating complex release processes.
  • Proficiency in system administration tasks, such as user management, security configuration, and customisation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues in D365 environments.
  • Strong experience in data migration and implementations of D365.
  • Solid understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Line management experience of both permanent and temporary team members
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Certifications in Dynamics 365 and/or relevant Microsoft technologies are a plus.
