Location: Flexible - Newbury or Paddington, UK

Role Purpose

  • This role will be responsible for running the Cyber Adaptive Risk Method (CARM) Key Risk Indicator (KRI) project. As part of the new Risk Model being created in Vodafone Cyber Security, we are looking for a Technical Project Manager to run the KRI workstream and manage a large virtual team across the organisation to achieve the project outcomes. The KRI workstream underpins the success of CARM, due to the strong need to move to data-driven decisions and using data to underpin our definition ad prioritisation of controls. The main high-level objectives with this role include:
  • To onboard new KRI data feeds into the central analytics platform, direct from source in an automated way
  • To achieve 50% automation target by Mar-25
  • To expand and improve the existing KRIs we already report to senior management.
  • To work with 2nd line assurance team to develop each KRI to a point we can move from Evidence Based Assurance (EBA) to Data Driven assurance, where KRIs directly show the control effectiveness of a control.

What you'll do

  • Deliver against an agreed KRI Onboarding Roadmap that takes into requirements from various stakeholder groups (Assurance, Market/Entities, Senior Management)
  • Working with global Market teams - gathering and setting requirements, building a community across the Cyber teams and working with platform owners to gather feeds of data on a regular basis.
  • Deliver against broader CARM objectives that underpins the success of the model.
  • Define a multi-year KRI onboarding process for new KRIs into the chosen platform e.g. Cyber Analytics Platform. This should include the criteria for a mature KRI, onboarding pre-requisites, data quality and ability to semi-automate or full automate feeds.
  • Plan with the 2nd Line Assurance team to use the KRIs for their assurance of control implementations.
  • Ensure the onboarding process and reporting of existing KRIs need to have low FTE overhead for future years.

Who you are

  • Experience in projects that involve global platforms, markets and complex data feeds.
  • Agile, SAFe delivery experience
  • Working with large analytics or data lake platforms using Google Cloud, Elastic and Qliksense
  • Technical understanding and experience in defining Security KPIs and KRIs
  • Experience in a complex, highly prioritised project that will report up to Senior director level stakeholders.
  • Experience designing and implementing reporting metrics across complex and globally distributed organisations
  • Proactive, organised and able to work autonomously and to strict deadlines, with high levels of delegated authority.
  • Ability to make recommendations based on data and analysis, and report with a clear story.
  • Sound judgement and decision-making skills to address and resolve business issues, with a focus on continual improvement and process automation.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to dissect complex information for use across various mediums and channels.
  • Strong business acumen with Telecommunications, Technology or Security industry experience
  • Experience in managing a complex project in Data, Cyber or IT space
  • Experience working with Google Cloud Platform, Biq query, elastic and Qlik technologies.
  • SAFe qualified.
  • Educated to degree level.
