Cyber Security Operations Manager - London or Cheltenham (Hybrid). £70-80K

A boutique cyber consultancy is currently looking for a Cyber Security Operations Manger to join their expanding blue team department. As a Cyber Security Operations Manager you will be playing a crucial role in the implementation and deploying of security tools within the SOC environment to ensure optimal threat detection and response capabilities. As a Cyber Security Operations Manager You Will Get The Opportunity To:

• Utilise your subject matter expertise to drive the enhancement of the SOC capabilities

• Develop, implement and manage security solutions and SOC processes to enhance the standards of the organisation and service provided to clients

• Gain exposure to other areas of the SOC through cross functional collaboration thus rounding your overall knowledge of different departments

• Contribute to the growth and development of more junior members to enhance the capabilities of the wider team

• Influence wider strategic decisions throughout the organisation to enhance service offerings within the SOC

The Right Cyber Security Operations Manager Will Ideally Have:

• 5 Years experience working in SOC (ideally consultancy or MSSP)

• Knowledge of SOC best practices, threat detection, incident response, and relevant regulations.

• Experience deploying, configuring, and managing security tools within SOC environments.

• Excellent inter-personal and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Desirables For A Cyber Security Operations Manager (please feel free to apply regardless):

• Certifications in Cyber security and SOC operations (e.g., CISSP, GCIA, GCIH, etc.)

• Experience in consulting non technical C-Suite members
