We're now looking for a Customs Manager to play a vital role managing the Customs and NDNS teams within the Control Tower facilitating the movement of orders cross border for the customer.

️A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Lead the Customs team managing Export & Import activity along with query resolution, Proof of Exports and tax queries.
• Lead the NDNS team managing document checking activity along with vendor relationships, training and bookings.
• Accountable for Engagement, Employee development and Succession planning across the Customs & NDNS teams.
• Responsible for the relationship with Planning, Hauliers and Warehouse to manage the cross border movements and queries.
• Responsible for broker management, engagement and regular reviews of performance.
• Managing a team of three direct reports.

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO HAVE

• Experience in Supply Chain division, ideally with a retail customer.
• Experience in Customs Operations, ideally between UK and EU.
• Customer interaction and relationship management skills.
• People Management experience.
