DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Customer Service Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

  • The Customer Service Manager is a pivotal position within the business and has significant communication and involvement with our customer and their suppliers to ensure customer satisfaction and KPI delivery. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager you will be responsible for coordinating activities related to customer and supplier commodity requirements and operational management including delivery and collection performance.
  • You will be instrumental in understanding the needs of the customer whilst building and maintaining the relationship with multiple suppliers across the UK.
  • Working within transport, linefeed is manufacturing & DHL - also run vehicles from their WH to their plant, the colleague will be working with jaguar transport to confirm vehicles collected on time, suppliers are receiving the correct amount of empty stillages, working with JLR's vendors.
  • Supporting a team of circa x6 operatives

  • Full driving license required due to travel to alternate site.
  • Strong customer relationship management.
  • PC Literate.
  • Transport experience highly advantageous.
