As Customer and Network Performance Manager, you'll lead the implementation and management of activities relating to System Performance, to drive improved customer experience, across the ScottishPower Energy Networks Business, delivering a reward position in Broader Customer Service Measures and improvements in CI/CML performance.

What you'll be doing

Day to day, you'll manage a team of 5 and be leading on the co-ordination of all System Performance related reporting requirements and analysis activities relating to SP Distribution/SP Transmission. You'll ensure that accurate information is available timeously, at both internal and external interfaces, while meeting governance and policy requirements. Reporting will include managing Multiple Interruption reports for Customer Experience & Data Science, where you'll identify and drive performance improvement, across the short/medium/long term and will look for improvement areas and opportunities. A key focus of this role will be to implement the development of year end regulatory submissions relating to System Performance reporting for SPT, SPD and SPM, identifying opportunities for efficiency gains and ensuring that performance reporting policies and regulatory guidance is implemented accurately and within regulatory timelines. You'll drive a strong quality framework by identifying improvement areas across the teams from their quality checks, reviewing and understanding what improvements need to be made and presenting findings at monthly management meetings. You'll also provide a support service for the operational teams, engaging with each Department Lead to understand priorities each year and providing support where this is needed.

What you'll bring

We'll look for you to have an engineering background with Network/Operational experience preferable. You'll have experience of business regulatory frameworks and processes and will have the ability to interpret data and to understand what needs to be done to drive performance. As you'll be liaising with colleagues across the UK, you'll need excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and must be willing to provide standby cover as the role has the potential to come with an operational standby duty.
