Job Title: Curriculum Design Practitioner

Location: Preston. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £44,000 Depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Responsible for the consistent design and development of curricula across BAE Systems Early Careers provision
  • Utilise your knowledge and experience to develop a range of e-learning and assessment materials to be deployed in collaboration with function subject matter experts and Early Careers leaders
  • Proficiency in the creation of digital resources and integration of digital learning technology to consistently enhance and maximise our teaching and learning, delivery and resources
  • Liaise with a range of subject matter experts (SMEs) across the functions, to create modern, blended and impactful learning curriculum
  • Working within the Early Careers Learning Teaching and Assessment team focusing on the development and review of learning interventions
  • Take ownership of the preparations for delivery through effective planning of teaching, learning and delivery alongside Subject Matter Expert experience leads
  • Be responsible for stakeholder engagement throughout the curriculum design process to ensure effective learning experience development and high quality outcomes
  • Work with the wider Early Careers team to ensure effective integration of learning experiences to broader programme aims, dependencies and requirements

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Have an awareness of digital skills development and how to embed these skills into curriculum
  • Experience of delivering functioning, high quality curriculum outputs using a range of e-learning packages such as Gomo Learning, Storyline, Captivate or equivalent
  • Experience of engaging others and promoting participation in activity that promotes improved and modernised teaching learning and assessment through curriculum
  • Teaching, learning and assessment experience including the design and delivery learning within vocational settings

Desirable:

  • Educated to Degree level or above and/or industry related experience
  • Adobe Creative Cloud experience – Photoshop, InDesign & Premier Pro
  • Experience working in an engineering or complex products and services setting

The Early Careers Team:

In the Learning, Teaching and Assessment Team, we provide specialist support to the teams delivering apprenticeship programmes across the UK. You’ll be joining a dynamic team of curriculum design and education specialists, working on projects to develop innovative curricula to support optimising the delivery of our apprenticeship provision. You’ll use your knowledge and experience to collaborate with various sectors and third-party providers, making a significant impact across Early Careers at BAE Systems
