Job Title: Early Careers & Skills Development Practitioner (Curriculum Design)

Salary: £44,000 depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Responsible for the consistent design and development of curricula across a new Experiential Learning provision
- Liaise with a range of subject matter experts (SMEs) across the functions, to create modern, blended and impactful experiential learning curriculum
- Utilise your knowledge and experience to develop learning materials and assessments to be deployed in collaboration with function subject matter experts and experience leaders
- Working within a project team focused on the delivery, deployment and review of experiential learning interventions
- Be responsible for stakeholder engagement throughout the curriculum design process to ensure effective learning experience development and high quality customer service
- Work with the wider Submarine Centre for Experiential Learning programme team to ensure effective integration of learning experiences to broader programme aims, dependencies and requirements
- Facilitate testing and reviews of curriculum to ensure impactful learning experiences and assessments
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Experience of delivering functioning, high quality curriculum outputs using a range of e-learning packages such as Gomo Learning, Storyline, Captivate or equivalent
- Engaging others and promoting participation in activity that promotes improved and modernised teaching/learning and assessment through curriculum
- Teaching/learning and assessment experience including the design and delivery learning within vocational settings
Desirable:
- Educated to Degree level or above and/or industry related experience
- Experience in the planning and/or delivery of experiential learning
- Working in an engineering or complex products and services setting

The Early Careers Team:
In the Learning, Teaching and Assessment Team, we provide specialist support to the teams delivering apprenticeship, skills and training programmes across the UK. You’ll be joining a dynamic team of curriculum design and education specialists, working on developing an innovative experiential learning curriculum across a brand-new state-of the-art centre for experiential learning.
You’ll use your knowledge and experience to collaborate with various functional leads and key stakeholders to create modern, blended and impactful experiential learning curricula. A role here means the chance for you to use your expertise to help shape this exciting new provision!
