South Bank Colleges is seeking a confident and experienced Curriculum Data Manager to lead and manage a team delivering high-quality learner data, funding, and MIS services across the college. This is a key people-management role, responsible for ensuring staff are supported, developed, and consistently delivering accurate, compliant, and timely data services to curriculum teams.
As Curriculum Data Manager, you will combine strong leadership and operational management with expert knowledge of ESFA and GLA funding rules, ILR compliance, and audit requirements. You will play a central role in coordinating staff activity, improving processes, and ensuring learner data underpins effective curriculum planning, funding maximisation, and assurance readiness.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate must have the following:
- Experience working in a college or educational environment
- Proven experience of managing and supporting staff delivering operational data or MIS services
- Expert knowledge of ESFA/GLA funding rules, ILR requirements, and audit compliance
- Experience of complex data management, reporting, and systems improvement
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills, with the ability to present information clearly to senior managers
- Experience of designing and delivering staff training and guidance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to challenge and advise curriculum teams
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced people manager with strong data and funding expertise to play a vital role in supporting curriculum delivery and funding assurance at South Bank Colleges. Your leadership will be essential in ensuring staff perform at their best and that data quality underpins effective decision-making across the organisation.
This role is offered on a Permanent and Full time (36 hours a week) basis.
