QUALIFICATIONS

Essential criteria

  • DCR/BSc Diagnostic Radiography
  • HPC Registration

Desirable criteria

  • Postgraduate CT Qualification.
  • Management/Leadership Qualification

EXPERIENCE

Essential criteria

  • 5 years First line supervision or management
  • Innovator and experience of service improvement/change projects.

Desirable criteria

  • Experience of working in a CDC
  • Experience of commissioning new service/scanner/department

SKILL, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY

Essential criteria

  • CT Experience of a broad range of studies
  • Knowledge of department practice
  • Radiation Safety knowledge
  • Teaching /Training Experience
  • Team leadership skills
  • Knowledge of current NHS and radiographic issues

Desirable criteria

  • Intravenous cannulations skills
  • Counselling skills
  • Willingness to undertake further training, including advanced life support
