Driving
Essential criteria
- Car driver / access to an appropriate vehicle on a daily basis and ability to transport equipment safely in vehicle
Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Foundation degree in health and social care
- NVQ level 3 in care
Desirable criteria
- Health related qualification such as clinical skills
- Recent in-service trianing
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience of working within a community response team with a high level of autonomy.
- Current or prior experience of working in health, therapy and/ or social care setting
Desirable criteria
- Experience of working within rehabilitation/district nursing.
- Previous experience of working with adults with complex needs.
- Experience of working with people with chronic/ progressive disease.
- Experience of working with people/ families and carers who may be distressed depressed or aggressive
Skills/ Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Experience of: • Vena Puncture • ECG's • Obtaining Specimens • Pressure area Care • Blood sugar monitoring • Clinical observations and NEWS 2 tool
- Contribute to safe moving and handling of patients
- Be able to carry out treatment programmes and follow senior staff/ therapist instruction
- Ability to work as part of and contribute to a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to manage own case load and work without direct supervision
